Idaho Welcomes First Raising Cane’s: Will Montana Be Next?
What is it about a simple chicken finger that makes people go crazy? For kids, it is sometimes the only thing you can get them to eat. For adults, a chicken finger can be all the comfort food they need on any given menu. So it is obvious why a fast food chain that specializes in chicken fingers is expanding across the country.
According to boisedev.com
Raising Canes Chicken Fingers originated in Louisiana in 1996. It has since gained a fan following and grown to more than 700 locations in 37 states.
In addition to its chicken fingers, the brand is known for its Texas toast, iced tea, lemonade, and Cane’s sauce (think: jazzed-up fry sauce.) It also features a line of sandwiches and “tailgate” style catering options.
The popular fast-food chain has been expanding to more and more locations across the country. Their latest expansion is into our neighboring state of Idaho. With other fast food chains like In N Out and Wingstop moving into Idaho, could Montana be next on the list of a possible expansion to the chicken finger empire?
According to Scrapehero.com
There are 749 Raising Canes restaurants in the United States as of February 15, 2024. The state and territory with the most number of Raising Canes locations in the US is Texas, with 195 restaurants, which is about 26% of all Raising Canes restaurants in the US.
Montana, Wyoming, and Washington are currently the only western states that do not have a Raising Canes restaurant.
