Here’s an eclectic, yet satisfying, bill coming to Texas later this year. Iggy Pop, Cannibal Corpse, Ministry, Taking Back Sunday and many others have been announced to play the 2017 Sound on Sound Festival.

The three-day fest is definitely for those with diverse taste. Held in McDade, Texas’ Sherwood Forest, which is 35 miles from Austin, the event will take place in a medieval-style village 23 acres in size with over 100 permanent village structures meant as a “buffer to preserve the ambiance of our sanctuary from the outside world.” Sound on Sound organizers even offer to host weddings if that’s your ideal marriage spot.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs will headline the festival, marking the band’s first performance since 2013. Along with those listed above, hard rock and metal acts like Electric Wizard, Sleep, Dinosaur Jr., Converge, Boris, Turnstile, Power Trip, Wolves in the Throne Room, the Menzingers and more are confirmed to play.

The fest will be held from Nov. 10-12. Sound on Sound will also feature comedians and podcasters, while rides, games and pro wrestling are also teased in a promo video. Fans can grab three-day general admission tickets, VIP passes, camping and parking passes at the official Sound on Sound Festival website.

SOS Fest will benefit the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians. $15,000 was donated last year to the non-profit, which provides affordable health care for low-income, uninsured working musicians in the greater Austin area.
