Griz Gameday Information: Parking, Bags, Tickets And More

This weekend is the home opener for Montana Grizzlies Football. It caps off the busiest stretch of activities at Washington-Grizzly Stadium this summer. In case this is your first season attending Griz games or if you need a refresher here is everything you need to know before attending a Griz game. Everything from parking to bag policy to ticketing and everything in between.

Washington-Grizzly Stadium parking

Campus Drive is closed around Wa-Griz Stadium. That is allocated to RV parking and semi-trailers and other large vehicles that aren't your cars. You have options to park in lots. Season passes are purchased for Lots P, P1, Z, W, U, V, N, N1, L, V, F, A and R. Single game passes can be purchased in Lots B, C, D, E and S- south of the Library. If you're on a tight budget, there is free parking in Lots G, H, J and K.

Grizzly Game Day Shuttles

UDash provides free bus service on Grizzly Gamedays. Three routes are operational on gameday - South Campus, Downtown and Missoula College.

Grizzly Gameday Timeline

Gates open 1 hour & 30 minutes before kickoff for every home game. Tailgating begins two hours before kickoff. The full schedule is below.

What you can bring into the stadium

Bags are permitted but they have to be clear or small. Clear bags are permitted but must be under 12"x6"x"12". Smaller bags, such as purses, can be no larger than 4.5"x6.5". The University recommends bringing "what is necessary with you to UM Athletics venues - phone, wallet, money, credit cards, car keys."
