This one caught me by surprise.

During the pregame ceremonies before the Montana Grizzlies took on the Montana State Bobcats, our beloved mascot Monte crawled onto the floor wearing a camouflage military get-up. Then a pair of ropes dropped from the ceiling and it was on...

Down the rope went University of Montana President Seth Bodnar to deliver the game ball.

The video has some music dubbed over it, but live inside Dahlberg Arena Bodnar repelled in to the Mission Impossible theme song. It was a fun moment and cool to see Bodnar repel (decently well) into the game.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Bodnar can repel. He was a Green Beret and is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Montana National Guard.

But honestly, the funniest part of the pregame festivities was the other military guy who attempted to repel from the ceiling with Bodnar. It didn't go well for our other friend because he got caught less than halfway into the slide.

You can sort of see Mr. Military get stuck just a few feet into his repel. Our friend didn't make it any further and had to crawl back up to the rafters. It was even funnier because the introduction to the starting lineups was delayed and our poor friend was just hanging in the balance like a disco ball.
