South Dakota State, Illinois State, and Tarleton State round out the top 5. Again, no surprise there. SDSU has been a powerhouse for the last five-plus years; Illinois State is coming off a national title game appearance and has invested heavily in the program; and Tarleton State was arguably the best non-Big Sky or Missouri Valley team a season ago.
UC Davis (No. 6) and Northern Arizona (No. 25) are the only other Big Sky teams in the top 25. Idaho State missed out on the list by 3 points.
