Introduce Your Daughter To Working In Sports On National Girls & Women in Sports Day
Do you have a daughter or niece that's interested in working in sports? Next Saturday, February 8th is a great entry point into the world of sports.
Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day!
Technically, NGWSD is actually February 5th, but the University of Montana will be celebrating the day on Saturday to coincide with the Montana Lady Griz matchup with Northern Arizona.
The U is hosting a free youth clinic that allows kids between 4-13 years old "to come meet their favorite UM women's sports teams! Each team will have its own station with unique, fun activities for children to play and get to know more about the sports they love," according to an article from gogriz.com
The kiddos can meet the Big Sky Conference champion Grizzly Soccer team or Grizzly Tennis team. Plus, track and field, the Lady Griz, cheerleaders, cross country, softball, volleyball and golf.
