Former Missoula Osprey To Represent Team USA In World Baseball Classic
Can I take a second to rant about Major League Baseball? As a fan of the small market, poor Milwaukee Brewers, I hate where MLB is. The Dodgers are doing their thing, my Brewers are living off of coupons (self-inflicted), and teams like the Pirates, Rockies, and Twins aren't keen on winning.
It annoys me.
Before MLB upsets me for 6 months this summer, the 2026 World Baseball Classic provides us with some traditional, good old-fashioned baseball. I'm here for it.
Missoula will be indirectly represented in the WBC this season, too.

Goldy played for the Osprey for one season and in the Arizona Diamondbacks farm system for just three seasons before his call-up to the big league squad.
He became an MVP, 7-time All-Star, 5-time Silver Slugger, and 4-time Gold Glover.
Now, he's playing in his second WBC (2017).
