The third-largest fast-food chain in Montana is McDonald’s, with 41 locations. Subway and Dairy Queen are the two biggest fast-food chains, according to Scrape Hero.

The big McDonald’s news lately is they have brought back their Monopoly game, with a chance to win cash, food, and more. This time of year there is another reason a lot of people will be heading to their local McDonald’s and that’s because the McRib is back, but only in select cities.

McDonald’s describes their McRib: “The McRib starts with seasoned boneless pork dipped in a tangy BBQ sauce, topped with slivered onions and tangy pickles, all served on a toasted homestyle bun.”

Tracking McRib Sightings Online

There are people who love the McRib. There are so many fans of the sandwich that they have started a website that tracks where the McRib has been spotted for sale. As of this writing, according to the McRib Locator Map, the sandwich is currently for sale in Missoula and Billings. The website recommends that people call their local McDonald’s restaurants to see if they are still available.

Where the McRib Is Available in Montana

I have had friends who were obsessed with the McRib–my buddy Dan would eat two or three of them in one sitting. I grew up across the street from a McDonald’s; it was easy for us to look across the street to see if the McRib or Shamrock Shakes were for sale.

Now with technology, everyone can track where and when they can get the McRib. Good luck in your search for the elusive sandwich.
