Montana Lottery Hints at More Game Changes — What About Montana Millionaire?
Last night was the first drawing since the newest changes to the Mega Millions game from the Montana Lottery. Right away, we are seeing the results of the changes to the game.
Some of the changes to the game include a price increase to $5 per play, this includes a randomly assigned multiplier of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x for any win that isn't the jackpot. The odds of winning have improved. Jackpots start at $50 million, increased from $20 million, and go up from there. With the changes to the game, they are anticipating jackpots to increase more quickly than in the past.
Last night there was no winner so the new jackpot has increased to $79 million after just one drawing.
I spoke with Celina Clift from the Montana Lottery about some of the changes they have coming up. One of the big questions lottery players have is whether there will be changes to the popular "Montana Millionaire" game. At this time, the lottery hasn't announced any changes. They are planning on meeting with the lottery commission in June and if there are changes to the game they will be announced after that.
A reminder that there are still $1 million jackpots available for the "Millionaire Maker 2nd Edition" scratch game currently on sale.

Another change from the lottery is to "The Works" package. Due to the change in the price of the Mega Millions game, "The Works" option has increased in price to $20. For that price you will get a random play from the following games:
- Powerball w/ Power Play + Double Play
- Powerball w/ Power Play
- Mega Millions
- Montana Cash + Max Cash
- Lucky For Life
- Big Sky Bonus
- Lotto America + All Star Bonus
The Montana Lottery is also making changes to their website and their "Players Club". The current "Players Club" will be ending on May 5th. When the lottery launches the new "Players Club" sometime this summer, players will need to re-register for the new and improved club.
Some of the improvements to the players club include three monthly drawings and a "spin-the-wheel" feature. Also every lottery ticket sold (excluding Sports Bet tickets) will include a "bonus code" that can be used for the "Players Club".

The Montana Lottery will also be releasing new scratch games this summer that will be part of their "Bonus X" games.
As you can see there are a lot of changes happening with the Montana Lottery and we will hopefully find out shortly what changes will be made for this year's "Montana Millionaire" game.
In the meantime good luck and please play responsibly.
