Over the past several years, November 1 has become one of the most exciting mornings of the year across Montana.

That’s because the annual Montana Millionaire game goes on sale—and people line up early hoping to become the next millionaire.

If you’ve ever driven by a convenience store, grocery store, casino, or bar early that morning, you’ve probably seen the lines. Many stores open before sunrise, and by 5:30 a.m., hundreds of Montanans are already waiting for their chance to grab a ticket.

Even more exciting for players, the game will now include six $1 million grand prizes.

According to Bob Brown, the goal is to give more Montanans a chance to win during the milestone anniversary year.

“Our goal every year is to deliver a game that reflects the passion our players have for the Montana Millionaire,” Brown said. “But this year is special as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game. By increasing the number of tickets and top-tier prizes for 2026, we’re ensuring more players have the opportunity.”

New Prizes and Drawings Added This Year

Along with more million-dollar prizes, the Montana Lottery is also adding several new prize opportunities.

Highlights of the 2026 Montana Millionaire game include:

  • Six $1 million grand prizes
  • Better odds to win $1 million
  • 100,000 additional tickets available
