When it comes to Montana's favorites for Thanksgiving, we are pretty traditional. According to Cheapism.com, Montana is part of the majority in what we prefer for our favorite side dishes and desserts for Thanksgiving. According to the report, our favorite side dish is stuffing or dressing. For those that don't know they are the same thing. The difference is stuffing is cooked inside the turkey and dressing isn't. When we make stuffing, we throw in some hot Italian sausage, it adds an extra zing to the dressing.

When it comes to dessert we are along with the majority. It is all about the pumpkin pie for Montana. While some states don’t follow the pumpkin pie trend, they still favor pie—just different varieties.

Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Vermont are fans of apple pie. While southern states like Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas prefer a nice pecan pie.

Whether it's stuffing with a twist or classic pumpkin pie, Thanksgiving in Montana is a time to embrace tradition while adding a personal touch. So this year, as we gather around the table, we’ll celebrate not just the food but the unique flavors that make our holiday special.
