Interesting Look At Montana Weather Compared To Farmer’s Almanac
Montana's weather can be as unpredictable as the people. Montana, along with a lot of states have the old joke "if you don't like the weather, just wait 15 minutes because it will change." We have been keeping an eye on the Old Farmer's Almanac forecast for Montana for the rest of November and what we can expect for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Old Farmer's Almanac has been around since 1792. They have been giving important information to farmers and gardeners for centuries. They have also been tracking weather data from sources, including farmers in the beginning and from NOAA more recently.
Montana's November Weather Has Been Mild Across the State
Montana is broken up in two regions. Western Montana is in the "Intermountain" region, while Eastern Montana is in the "High Plains" region. So even though we are one state, we may see two completely different forecasts. According to the Old Farmer's Almanac November forecast for Montana we were supposed to see colder weather and chances of snow. For most of Montana recently the weather has been mild.

According to Weatherspark.com November temperatures so far have been warm.
- Billings, MT has seen high temps in the 60's.
- Missoula, MT has seen high temps in the upper 50's.
- Bozeman, MT has seen high temps in the mid 60's.
- Great Falls, MT has seen high temps in the lower 60's.
- Butt, MT has seen high temps in the lower 50's.
There are golf courses around Montana that are still open. If you can remember back to last year at this time, most of Montana was under a blanket of snow that stayed with us until March.
There is Still A Lot of November Left
For now some of the long range forecasts haven't been as accurate as they may have been in the past. If you are a golfer the milder weather is great. If you are a skier or snowboarder, seeing golfers this late into November, may not give you much hope. There is still a lot of November left and we haven't begun winter yet.
Montana May Still See A "White Christmas"
According to Old Farmer's Almanac the expectations are still colder with more snow than average. Their forecast also calls for a "White Christmas" in both regions of Montana. For now we can enjoy the warmer weather, because we know that winter will be here soon enough. Only time will tell how accurate the forecast will have been for Montana.
