Big Sky Resort Ski Lift Shack Hammered By Avalanche [WATCH]

LOOK OUT IT'S AN AVALANCHE!

Avalanches are very dangerous, I know, but when I read the word 'avalanche' my child-like mind thinks of an old Spongebob Squarepants episode. It's the one where Spongebob and Patrick are playing in their cardboard box using only their imagination.

That is great content. When Spongebob says "Because I already cut off my own arms," I howl with laughter every time. Great show.

Anyway, with all the snow Montana received this week, it did some damage to Big Sky Ski Resort. One TikTok account captured the moment an avalanche came crashing down against a Big Sky lift shack.

Fortunately, nobody was injured but that still had to be quite the rush hanging out in the shack as a tidal wave of snow came rushing at you.

As I'm writing this story, Thursday morning, Big Sky is still under a winter weather advisory. Resorts can always use the snow but maybe they'd like to avoid another avalanche engulfing a lift shack.
