The overall number might not seem noteworthy. But the continued upward trend is a promising sign of more good things to come.

UM News Service tells us that enrollment is again on the rise at the Bitterroot College University of Montana in Hamilton. The school has seen two years of steady student enrollment growth. And the current semester is no exception.

NEARLY 40% ONE-YEAR BUMP

Bitterroot College UM has 145 students enrolled this spring semester, which is a 39% increase compared to last spring. Administrators attribute the success to "growing academic offerings, career preparation, workforce development and a supportive community."

GUIDED PATHWAYS

The "Guided Pathways" curriculum is an approach where course offerings are more closely aligned to sought-after degrees preferred by students. It also aligns high school and college offerings, providing students the chance to choose how they want to attend courses, in person on the Hamilton campus or accessing options through remote online classes.
