I like natural hot springs that haven't been transformed into a resort. I'd much rather go to Jerry Johnson or Weir instead of a legitimate resort.
Maybe it's not a hot take, but I'd much rather sit in the dirty waters of an untouched hot spring than in a pool that's been cleaned and maintained.

Montana Hot Springs Among the Best
Two Montana-based hot springs are up for best hot springs in the country, according to USA Today's 10 Best.
Quinn's Hot Springs in Paradise and Yellowstone Hot Springs in Gardiner are the two representing the Treasure State.
Quinn's Hot Springs Resort, located in Montana's Lolo National Forest, features seven outdoor pools, including five natural flow-through hot springs ranging from 100 to 106 degrees Fahrenheit, and a 55-degree cold plunge. - USA Today's description.
