There's nothing naughty about the adventures planned for you and your kids at the library.

In fact, in the spirit of the holidays, it all sounds pretty nice. Including finding that delightful Elf on a Shelf to score a treat.

The Missoula Public Library invites you and all the kids to meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus this Saturday, December 2, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. The jolly old couple will be there to read stories, hear about all the children's Christmas wishes and of course photo opportunities. So, have those phones ready for pictures and videos

Santa's visit is in conjunction with Missoula's annual Holiday on Higgins celebration (formerly Parade of Lights), which will take place this Saturday. Details on the celebration can be found here. Also be sure to take a stroll through Downtown Missoula and take in the holiday lights and displays created by Downtown businesses. Vote for your favorites in five categories now through December 14.

Santa’s sleigh will be leaving the library promptly at 3:00 p.m. to be part of Holiday on Higgins, so be sure to get in line by 2:30! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in the Imaginarium on the second floor of the the Missoula Public Library.

NOW, ABOUT THAT ELF ON A SHELF

Each day, starting this Friday, come to the library and find Paige, the Elf on the Shelf, in her new hiding place. Tell a librarian where you found her and receive a sweet treat.

The Missoula Public Library is located at 455 East Main in Downtown Missoula.
