Are donuts underrated? When sweets are talked about, you always hear about brownies, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, etc. But we don't hear enough about donuts. Unless you follow Big Cat of Barstool Sports, who tweets about donuts every weekend, that guy tweets about donuts every weekend.

National Donut Day is coming up on November 5th, which, by the way, we have far too many made-up national holidays. I'm a curmudgeon. I don't want to have National Donut Day and National Post Pictures of Your Pet Day or National Milk Day. It's annoying and I hate fun.

If you go to a donut shop, are you ordering a bear claw? Are we sure Montana, or any state for that matter, loves bear claws more than any other donut? Oregon and Washington's favorite donut was a chocolate-frosted donut. Idaho's was a maple glazed. North Dakota loves an old-fashioned (don't get cute with that) and South Dakota rocked the glazed donut.
