Ticket Frenzy! Latest Update on Sales for Montana Griz Football

Needless to say, passion for our Montana Grizzly football team is at a fever pitch, fueled by a 37-7 drubbing of our instate rivals.

The University of Montana Grizzly football team will be hosting the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens in Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) playoff action this Saturday night, December 2, at 7:00, in Washington-Grizzly Stadium. And with just a little over 50 hours till kickoff at the time of this post, there is no shortage of fans ready to crush the decibel meter.

Now, lest we discourage you from purchasing tickets, the full disclaimer is that it is NOT a sellout. At least at this point. But if you have been considering whether or not you're going to attend, sooner might be better than later.

The available-seat map shows multiple sold-out sections. Season ticket holders had right of first refusal to buy their regular season seats for the playoff game, before tickets went on sale to the general public Wednesday morning, and it looks like the regulars did not disappoint. The map shows many sections entirely sold out and also gives you an indication of whether availability in other section is for single, low or medium.

As of 9:30 Thursday morning, the University of Montana Marketing Department gave us a tally of 19,192 tickets sold so far. We don't know if that includes tickets sold to UM students, but the public can't sit there anyway!
