Win Tickets To This Awesome Montana Music Festival
For not being a "hot spot" for live music, Montana reels in some great acts. Missoula has Kettlehouse Amphitheater, Bozeman's got the Elm, and festivals in Whitefish, Drummond and, of course, White Sulphur Springs.
And we've got tickets to a lot of these shows all summer. Including...
Drum roll...
The Red Ants Pants Festival
As my coworker Dennis Bragg from Daybreak with Dennis on 94.9 KYSS-FM described the Red Ants Pants Festival (RAPF): "Oh, it's a big party."
RAPF rolls through Eastern Montana July 25-28 with a great lineup of musicians. Lukas Nelson, The Devil Makes Three, Los Lobos and Sarah Jarosz headline the festival with plenty of other great acts from Montana and beyond.
There's plenty of great music and boatloads of fun to be had, but there's a wholesome vibe to the festival too. RAPF's website describes the weekend as "a 100% homegrown, volunteer-driven event based in a community of 900 people with the goal of bringing good folks together to celebrate rural Montana."
An excuse to listen to great country music and support rural Montana? Sign me up. The event is hosted by the Red Ants Pants Foundation, a non-profit supporting women and preserving good ole' family farms. Some of the profits go to the Foundation.
We've got your chance to win. Over the course of the spring & summer, we're giving away 3 pairs of weekend passes to the festival. The first giveaway is Friday, May 17 on Daybreak With Dennis on 94.9 KYSS-FM & kyssfm.com.
At 8:20 this Friday, listen to Dennis for the live call-in for your chance to win a pair of weekend passes. Make sure you're listening to be the correct caller. Follow KYSS on Facebook and download the KYSS-FM App to catch updates on when our next concert giveaways will be.
