
Blood Found: Missoula Police Need Help With Their Investigation
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On January 21, 2026, at 7:08 PM, the Missoula Police Department reported that they were investigating blood that was found. Police Public Information Officer Whitney Bennett has the details.
"The Missoula Police Department is continuing to investigate suspicious activity reported in the 1600 block of River Road," Bennett said. "Officers and detectives responded to the area yesterday and conducted an initial investigation after a reporting party notified police of what appeared to be blood found at the location."
Bennett said detectives are actively following up on this information, and the investigation remains ongoing.

"At this time, investigators are requesting assistance from the public," Bennett said. "Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity, has relevant information, or has video surveillance from the area within the timeframe of late Monday evening and yesterday afternoon is encouraged to contact the Missoula Police Department’s non-emergency line at (406) 552-6300."
