Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On January 19, 2024, a Missoula Police Department Officer spoke with a loss prevention officer at Walmart located at Highway 93 South. The loss prevention officer previously submitted an online report to MPD stating that she witnessed 44-year-old Frank Tallbull steal a four-pack of Steel Reserve beer from Walmart.

According to court documents, Tallbull concealed the beer in his coat and passed all points of sale without paying. The loss prevention officer reported that Tallbull had been trespassed from Walmart South due to a prior attempted theft.

The loss prevention officer told the MPD officer that she recognized Tallbull from his prior attempted theft on January 10, 2024. She stated that multiple other employees also recognized Tallbull.

The officer reviewed Tallbull’s history and confirmed that he was permanently trespassed from all Walmart locations on January 10, 2024. The officer also noted that Tallbull has two other pending theft cases and a sexual assault case just since January 10, 2024.

Tallbull was placed under arrest without incident. He was transported to the Missoula County Detention Facility and is currently being charged with felony burglary. On January 25, 2024, Tallbull made his initial appearance in Missoula Justice Court and his bond was set at 5,000.
