"Winter in the Great Plains and Rockies will usher in plenty of cold temperatures and occasional bouts of storminess, bringing widespread rains and snows."
In fact, according to the website, many of us in Montana can expect early snowfall with large accumulations in the near future. The Farmer's Almanac is predicting that the first week of October will bring snowfall to the state with severe storms possible in the middle of the month.
