Jim Carrey Post Anti-Gun Video and Sparks Controversy on Twitter

Jim Carrey threw his hat into the ring on the gun control debate. He recently released a new video on Funnyordie.com, where he takes a blatant shot (get it? Shot?) at Charlton Heston and the NRA. But his comments on Twitter have stirred a "hornets nest" of angry pro-gun supporters.
His Twitter post reads:
'Cold Dead Hand' is abt u heartless motherf%ckers unwilling 2 bend 4 the safety of our kids.Sorry if you're offended by the word safety.
People are lining up to let Jim know how they feel about the comment by saying things like:
The video isn't even very funny, but he does do a damn good Charlton Heston impression.
