KettleHouse Lands Killswitch Engage and Machine Head
Here it is! Finally!
Missoula is getting a rock show that does not sound like the background music for a brewery patio. Killswitch Engage and Machine Head are coming to KettleHouse Amphitheater on Friday, Sept. 25th. And for the first time in many moons, Missoula rock fans have something that feels worthy of circling on their calendar. Rivers of Nihil and Judiciary are also on the bill, so this is not some half-serious package blowing through town. This thing has teeth.
A Show Missoula Actually Needed
It has seemed like a real rock and metal announcement was overdue here in Missoula. Something big, something loud, something heavy, something to look forward to without having to lie and pretend you’re excited simply because "live music is live music." This feels like a real answer to that with Killswitch Engage and Machine Head at KettleHouse. It feels earned.
Killswitch still delivers that blend of meaty riffs and huge singalong moments. Machine Head has been at this long enough that they just show up and level a place. Then you throw in Rivers of Nihil and Judiciary, and all of a sudden, this is one of the more stacked heavy lineups Missoula has seen get booked in a long time.
