Korn Share Cryptic Tease Urging Fans to ‘Watch It All Fall Down’
Korn shared a visually striking image online while imploring fans to "sign up now" at the band's official website for a purpose that wasn't immediately made clear Monday (June 17).
The nu-metal veterans, whose latest studio album was 2016's The Serenity of Suffering, are touring throughout North America this summer. (You can see a list of the band's upcoming tour dates below.)
The photo, posted via Korn's social media outlets, could be viewed as an abstract representation of cords or wires. Alternately, perhaps it's simply a sketch (or possibly a painting) of dark, expressionist lines.
But does this mean the band are closing in on a new album? Late last year, the band had started work on music, with Blink-182's Travis Barker even sitting in on demos. In January it was reported that Jonathan Davis was laying down vocals for a new record. But does the imagery tie in to a new album? See the image below.
If you visit the band's website currently, a pop-up greeting for what appears to be an email subscription signup invites you to "Watch it all fall down ... " before allowing you to proceed to the rest of the site.
