Korn’s Brian ‘Head’ Welch to Speak at Zootown Church

Korn will be in Missoula for a show at the Adams Center on Sunday, February 23rd and founding member and guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch will be speaking at Zootown Church while he's in town. Members of Zootown Church have been studying the Brennan Manning book "The Ragamuffin Gospel."  Head will speak on this at the church's "Ragamuffin Party" at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 22nd.

Then on Sunday, February 23rd, Head will be doing a live Q&A with Pastor Scott Klaudt at 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. on the day of the concert at Zootown Church, 3623 Brooks Street (behind Paradise Falls.) Get more info on the event here.

Head left Korn in 2005 after becoming a born again Christian, he made and continues to make Christian music, but rejoined Korn in 2013. He did a documentary called 'Loud Krazy Love' in 2018 to share how his life changed when he "walked away from a 23-million-dollar record deal, vowing to kick his drug habit and become a good father."

It is for the wobbly and weak-kneed who know they don’t have it all together and are too proud to accept the handout of amazing grace. It is for inconsistent, unsteady disciples whose cheese is falling off their cracker. It is for poor, weak, sinful men and women with hereditary faults and limited talents. It is for earthen vessels who shuffle along on feet of clay. It is for the bent and the bruised who feel that their lives are a grave disappointment to God. It is for smart people who know they are stupid and honest disciples who admit they are scalawags. The Ragamuffin Gospel is a book I wrote for myself and anyone who has grown weary and discouraged along the Way.
