We started with 32 of the biggest hard rock hits of the 21st century and over the past month thousands and thousands of votes have been cast. In the end, Linkin Park's "In the End" walked away with the title of the Best Hard Rock Hit of the 21st Century after all the votes were tallied.

The band started their run with a convincing victory over Chevelle's "The Red" in the first round. They also outlasted Queens of the Stone Age's "No One Knows" in the second round, and emerged victorious in a hard fought match against Godsmack's "I Stand Alone" in the quarterfinal round.

After winning their bracket, Linkin Park's "In the End" eeked out a victory against Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" in what would be their stiffest competition. Sniffing victory only one match away, Linkin Park's "In the End" claimed the title of the Best Hard Rock Hit of the 21st Century by besting Three Days Grace's "Animal I Have Become."

Our congrats to Linkin Park, as their Hyrbrid Theory favorite "In The End" has been voted by Loudwire's Readers as the Rocktober Rumble 2016 title holder for Best Hard Rock Hit of the 21st Century.
