The annual May Day festivities were part of the opening of the general Hamilton Farmers Market Saturday, May 4. The streets around the Ravalli County Museum were filled with market booths, market-goers and kids. The children's parade from Legion Park to the museum lawn ended with two Maypoles. The young people, some accompanied by parents, pulled the ribbons around the poles with music from the Salamanders.

The sunny skies and warm weather were welcome as the market season starts and will continue through October. Even dinosaurs were excited! (see Photo below)
