Meanwhile In Montana: Crazy Cowboys Go ‘Bison Boarding’
You read the title correctly. Bison boarding may soon be a thing. No, we are not talking about putting up some friendly bison in a stall with plenty of fresh hay for the night. We are talking about snowboarders getting towed behind a giant American bison. Seems like some harmless Montana-style fun.
DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!
Fans of the hit television show "Yellowstone" may recall an episode when the entire bunkhouse crew decided to drunkenly try to bareback ride bison leading people to believe that they can come to Montana and possibly pull some cowboy moves on a 1-ton critter. Odds are they are quickly going to realize how good their health insurance is.
Leave the bison riding to the trained professionals.
The team at Bar JL Horse training knows how to ride. They even managed to train a young bison named "Indy" to accept a saddle and rider. Making for what appears to be the almost surreal sight of a cowboy riding a bison.
From the looks of it, "Indy" likes to play. So when the snow started flying, the crew at Bar JL Horse training decided to have a little winter fun with the gentle beast. Why not try a little skijoring? You know, simply using a bison towing a cowboy on a snowboard.
Watch as "Indy" pulls his cowboy buddies around a snow-covered arena. And stay tuned for Bison Boarding in a future installment of the Winter Olympics. We can only imagine that some American cowboy or cowgirl will bring home the gold medal.
