Missoula Couple Gets Engaged at Washington Grizzly Stadium

We've seen some incredible engagement locations around Montana, but I think this is the first time we've seen a proposal at Washington Grizzly stadium. Play-by-play broadcaster for Griz sports and "Voice of the Griz" Riley Corcoran popped the question to his girlfriend McKell, who is the Griz Assistant Athletic Director. With those titles, there really couldn't be a better place for such a special occasion. 

As the story goes, in early December, Riley asked his girlfriend to meet him at the stadium for moral support before an important meeting. But it was actually a setup for the proposal and she said yes! As you can see, they were both in their Griz gear and that ring is looking mighty fine with her Griz manicure. Riley is originally from Billings and though I've known him for years, I think I've only ever met him face-to-face once. I speak with him on occasion for Griz sports broadcasts on our stations and I'll tell you what, he's a genuinely nice guy, very humble and always offering a "thank you" or a compliment. And if you've heard him on the air, there is no doubt he's got a sincere passion for the Grizzlies and sports in general.

Congratulations to the happy couple! The 2022 Griz Football season kicks off with a home game on Saturday, September 3rd when the Griz host the Northwestern State Demons out of Louisiana. If you're planning ahead we'll have home games on September 10th and 24th, October 15th, November 5th, and 12th, with the Brawl of the Wild scheduled for November 19th in Bozeman.
