Missoula Figure Skating Club to Perform Their First Story Show
My family used to go ice skating semi-often when I was a kid, so I've got a few skills when it comes to getting out on the rink... as long as those skills involve skating in a big circle and not attempting any fancy tricks.
Which is why it always blows my mind to see people who actually know what they're doing on the ice show off their movies. I definitely don't have the skills of a real figure skater. I don't even have the skills of Will Ferrell in Blades of Glory.
So if you want to see some real figure skaters who actually know what they're doing, you'll want to check this out - the Missoula Figure Skating Club is putting on their very first storytelling show!
Check Out Alice on Ice in Missoula
The Missoula Figure Skating Club is building a narrative based on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland that involves elaborate skating routines that build together to become the familiar story everyone knows. This is their first time doing something like this - so if you want to see more events like it, it's a good idea to support this one!
Alice on Ice will be taking place at Glacier Ice Rink in Missoula on May 7th at 6:30 PM, and there will be libations available from Big Sky Brewery before the show and during intermission. If you'd like to buy tickets, you can do so right here.
For all other info you might need, you can check out their Facebook event page.
