Where to Buy the Limited Run of Honey Flavored ‘Missoula Gives’ Beer
It's time for all the feels as our community of friends, neighbors, business owners, and philanthropists alike go all out to raise funds for local nonprofits. Missoula Gives 2022 begins Thursday, May 5 and lasts for just 26 hours. More than 180 Montana nonprofits will benefit from the online event that managed to raise more than $1 million in 2021.
When Missoula thinks about kindness, selflessness, and community support, a couple who will often come to mind is Fernanda and Robert Krum, owners of Imagine Nation Brewing. I've written about them before so you likely know what a fan I am of their humble style of giving. With that said, it was not a surprise to learn that they concocted a very Missoula-friendly way to bring attention and awareness to this year's Missoula Gives - through beer.
Bee The Change is a honey pale ale brewed with local honey from Wustner Bros and hopped with Simcoe, Idaho7, and El Dorado. Team INB says they created the delectable honey brew to inspire generosity, with ALL proceeds going to Missoula Gives. It's on sale now at Imagine Nation Brewing on Broadway, the Good Food Store, Pattee Creek Market, and Worden's Market.
The project is bittersweet for Fernanda and Robert as earlier this year they announced they were selling the brewery and returning to their humanitarian work abroad. So this could be their final Missoula collab, and what a perfect one to put the exclamation point on their story and local legacy. In just 7 years, Imagine Nation has supported more than 500 organizations and has given back an average of 25% of its profits to the community. Our hats go off to the Krums and their incredible staff at the brewery in celebration of the impact they've had on Missoula and surrounding communities.
