The First Missoula Marathon in Three Years is This Weekend
It's finally happening! It's been a long time since the Missoula Marathon was able to come together for a fully in-person event, but this weekend, it's set to return for the first time since 2019.
Marathon weekend is descending upon Missoula and people are excited. Here's a rundown of what you can expect to see:
The Weather Looks Fantastic
We couldn't have asked for better weather for Marathon Weekend - which is a real stroke of luck, considering how dreary and rainy it's been in Missoula for the last couple of months. We're looking at sunny, clear skies on Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures in the 70s and 80s.
The Missoula Marathon Schedule
On Saturday, June 25th, the Missoula 5K and the Missoula Kids Marathon will be taking place. Registration is closed for the 5K, and online registration is closed for the Kids Marathon - although if you want to get into that one, you might still be able to if you register in person.
And then on Sunday, June 26th, it's the main event - the Missoula Marathon and the Missoula Half-Marathon. There are still a few spots open for the Missoula Marathon, though you'll have to register in person for that one. Online registration IS still open for the Half-Marathon, and will be through 4 PM on Saturday.
And if you want to just hang out and watch the race, the finish line will still be on the Beartracks Bridge (formerly Higgins Bridge) despite the ongoing construction. You can find out all the info you need at the Missoula Marathon website.
