By now you've probably heard about last night's ugly five-car pile-up on Interstate 90 just east of Missoula.

A dear friend and former co-worker of ours, Susan Reneau, was one of the drivers involved in that mishap. Thankfully, Susan is okay, but she is asking for help finding her beloved black Labrador retriever, Betty Crockett, who jumped out of her wrecked car last night at about 7:15, at mile marker 113 near Turah.

Susan says thanks to God and seat belts, she is fine. She was traveling slowly when the accident occurred. She was returning from Drummond where she was scouting for elk for a friend, who is suffering from cancer. She will be a member of the party who will be assisting him on his cow elk hunt this weekend.

Betty Crockett is chipped and has tags. She is shy but friendly and may have some cuts from the car crash. If you have any info, you can reach Susan 24/7 at 719-661-4037. Here's wishing Susan a happy ending to this ordeal.
