Easter has snuck up on me and I am scrambling to make it a special one for my 8 year old. The older the boy gets, the more difficult it is to find goodies that keep the magic of Easter alive. Traditionally, Easter is not a gift giving holiday. But, growing up, I always got a "lil something" in my Easter basket. Outside of leaving all the eggs and chocolate strewn through my backyard. The Easter bunny always manages to leave a gift hidden somewhere. Whether it be something like a new video game, a fishing pole, a kite or even fun games to play outside.

If you are looking to help the Easter bunny do a little shopping. Shall a recommend a couple AMAZING spots in Missoula?

First of all, I am a firm believer that you should always try to shop local. Especially, since the pandemic has really put a hurt on local small businesses. Now more than ever it is important for you to consider your options for shopping local, before going to some BIG corporation chain store. They seemed to weather the pandemic just fine, but shopping local means your money stays in the local economy. And, not going to pay for some out of state CEOs 5th vacation home. That is why I think that the following spots are a good pick for shopping local for Easter.

Rockin Rudy's

How can you go wrong not taking a minute or an hour perusing though the wonderland of Rockin Rudy's. You are pretty much guaranteed to find something magical for that Easter basket, regardless of age.

Imagination Station

This spot is great for all kids from infants to primary school. You can find all sorts of awesome things for the kiddos. Everything from plushies to dolls to space helmets. You can even pick up a copy of "Goodnight Missoula."

Posh Chocolat

If you REALLY want to step up your game. Check out the delicious world of Posh Chocolat. For the Easter holiday, they are offering up hand painted dark chocolate Easter eggs filled with milk and dark chocolate coins. YUM!
