Missoula has had some big news when it comes to new businesses in town over the last two weeks. El Cazador opened their second location, WinCo finally opened their doors, and it was announced that Chick-fil-A has plans to put a location on N. Reserve.
And more news, as a brand new coffee shop opened up on N. Russell Street today.

Big Creek Coffee has been successful in Hamilton and they've now added a second location in Missoula. In an interview with the Missoulian, owner Randy Lint shared his thoughts about the process of finding a spot in town: "I've always kind of had my eyes out (for a place in Missoula), and I was looking at places on the Hip Strip even a couple years ago. But I have two high school-age kids and I remember how hard it was to start a business the first time around as far as time commitment. So my two kids are out of school now and that sort of lit a fire under me to want to come up here and see if we could make a go of it in the big city."

The new Big Creek Coffee is close to Bayern Brewery and across the street from Pink Grizzly (winner of a Townie Award). It was originally planned that the second location would happen last year - until the pandemic brought things to a halt. But it seems like now might just be the perfect time to open up a neighborhood coffee shop as people start looking to get back to normal social activities.

They're open seven days a week at 275 N. Russell St. And not only can you grab coffee - but they'll also have goodies from Bernice's Bakery and Morning Birds Bakery. Stop by and check it out!
