The Hu are coming to Missoula! If you're familiar with the band, you're psyched, if you don't know 'em yet, start listening because this is going to be one of the best shows of the year.

The Hu formed in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and is producer Dashka along with members Gala, Jaya, Temka, and Enkush. The band’s name translates to the Mongolian root word for human being and their instruments include jaw harp, horsehead fiddle, Mongolian guitar, and a whole lot of throat singing.

When I first heard of these guys I made the mistake of assuming they were a traditional band so it took me a while to give them a chance, but once I did I was hooked. They are very much contemporary metal with a dash of Mongolian traditional, they call their sound "Hunnu Rock." Check out their song with Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach and their sick cover of Metallica's 'Sad But True' below.

Check out the album 'The Gereg,' it debuted at #1 on the World Album chart and Top New Artist Chart. The Hu have a new album coming out this year, in the meantime, they are launching their Black Thunder Tour across America.
