Missoula didn't receive the big snow event predicted over the weekend, but the predictions of bitter wind chill temperatures were on target, with a wind chill advisory in effect.

Missoula police chased and subdued a Spokane Washington man early Friday morning after he threatened them with a hatchet and a knife.

Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst reported on Friday that her office had prosecuted 18 new felony cases last week.

A wind chill  advisory is in effect in western Montana until 11 am. Light snow possible, with highs near 15.
