Montana Needs a Beer Hotel With Shower Beers & Bedside Taps

Okay Montana beer enthusiasts, let’s get serious. We’re home to world-class breweries, gorgeous mountain views, and some of the best craft beer drinkers on the planet. But what is it that we don’t have? A beer-themed hotel. And that seems to me a crime against delicious "barley pop."

I’m not referring to a hotel that happens to also serve beer. Nope, I mean a full-bore beer lover’s utopia, where each room is equipped with a shower beer fridge (don't hate it until you try it) and a bedside beer tap (Because you never know when you will get thirsty.)

Ohio is home to the DogHouse Columbus, a hotel that has truly perfected the idea. You check in, pop a cold one, and soak in the glory of a space made for people who love a good pint. Montana, it’s time for us to rise to the occasion.

Imagine: a Montana brewery-hotel hybrid, where you can rise and smell the hops that are wafting in from the brew kettles next door. Somewhere the mini-bar is stocked with everything from MooseDrool to Coldsmoke. A rooftop beer garden with views as sharp as a freshly poured Bayern Amber. Or how about breakfast with Miners Gold-infused pancakes? A hot tub bubbling with, you guessed it, Trout Slayer (ok maybe that one’s a stretch, but a person can dream).

Montana has already proven its craft beer love, with more than 90 breweries in the state. So to all the brewers and investors out there, this is your sign. Build it, and we shall come … EXTRA thirsty too.
