Hey there, Montanans! If Walmart is your go-to for grocery runs, it’s time to double-check what’s sitting in your pantry and freezer. Walmart has issued recalls for two items that could’ve made their way into your shopping cart.

According to All Recipes, 2 items are being recalled from Walmart stores.

1. Great Value Family Size Chicken Broth

First up, the classic staple for soups and casseroles has been recalled. Why? Because the packaging might let air sneak in, which could lead to spoilage. And nobody wants to risk opening a carton of funky broth, right?

Here’s what to look for:

  • Size: 48-ounce cartons (that’s the big one).
  • Best If Used By Date: March 25, 2026.
  • UPC Code: 007874206684.

While the recall mainly affects southern states, let’s not assume Montana is safe from the broth bandit. Check those cartons! If yours matches the details, it’s refund or toss time.

2. Bettergoods Chicken Curry Empanadas
Now, this one’s a real twist. The USDA says some chicken curry empanadas might actually be... apple cinnamon empanadas. Surprise! While biting into an apple-filled empanada might sound fun, here’s the kicker: these sweet treats contain milk, which isn’t listed on the chicken curry packaging. That’s a serious no-go for anyone with dairy allergies.

What to check:

  • Best By Dates: 05/21/26 or 05/22/26.
  • Establishment Number: P33967.

This alert is nationwide, so Montanans, it’s time to peek in your freezer. If you’ve got these empanadas and allergies in the house, return them or chuck them. Or you can play the mystery game. Is it going to be curry or apple pie? That sounds about as fun as those jelly beans that are either chocolate cake or dog food.
