Veterans' healthcare is the focus of a Montana "tele town hall" Wednesday afternoon. Judy Hayman of the Montana VA Health Care system announced the call-in conference this week. In a news release, she said the veterans can find out about what in-person services are available and the VA response to the coronavirus with plans to keep veterans and staff safe. She said, "We are so grateful for the ways Veterans have remained engaged with their healthcare during the pandemic. We've had a 364 percent increase of virtual appointments." The Montana VA Health Care System was selected recently as a lead facility to expand face-to-face healthcare services.

Veterans can access the tele town hall at 1-866-478-3358 at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, June 10. The Montana VAHCS has 17 sites across the state, including an acute care medical center, a sleep center and telehealth services.
