After a Flogging Molly concert at the House of Blues in Boston, the venue was cited for allowing "violent behavior" because their security staff would not try to diffuse a situation of public safety. Was there a fight? NO! People were moshing... at a Flogging Molly concert...in Boston. I though that was a standard... If you go to Boston you have to mosh at either Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys... guess not. Boston law enforcement is trying to put an end to moshing, but why?  Apparently police see moshing as a dangerous activity and by banning it, less people will be subject to injury.

Even Brian Fair of Shadows Fall spoke out against this calling it "ridiculous."  I, personally, would rather tell a Catholic they can't go to church than tell a true metal head or hardcore fan they can't mosh (one has less of a chance of me getting my ass kicked.)  I do mosh, and I will admit, it gets rough in there. But in all honesty, if you can't handle it, don't go in. Know your own limitations and act accordingly.  I love to mosh but you'll probably never see me on the front line for the Wall of Death at a Lamb of God concert!
