Determined New York City Subway Rat Takes Pizza to Go

Everyone in New York City takes their pizza seriously. And we mean everyone.

Behold this rat that is furiously scurrying down a set of stairs in one of the Big Apple's countless subway stations. Just like the thousands of other residents in the city, the rat is in a hurry and decides to take a slice of pizza on the go.

Sadly, the pizza didn't make it when the critter leaves it sitting on a step. We can't help but notice the rat decided not to go back and get it, proving not even a rodent will eat food that's been on the ground at a subway stop. Either rats have increasingly high standards or it's really gross down there. Or, maybe, just maybe, the rat didn't want to miss the next train and decided to be courteous by not eating the slice on the subway. How thoughtful.
