Next Year’s Montana Hunting Regulations – Public Hearings are Coming
The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission earlier this month adopted tentative hunting regulations for the 2018-2019 season. Now's your chance to comment on the rules.
The regulations are for most game species - deer, elk, antelope, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, bison, black bear, mountain lion, wolf, turkeys, upland and migratory birds. Vivaca Crowser of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks said that more information on the proposals are at the FWP website, where you can also make comments. Scroll down on the Hunting page and you'll find the proposals.
If you want to make comments in person, however, there are three meetings in the area in January:
All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Comments are due by January 24th, 2018.
