Nothing More Soundtrack Airport Connection in ‘Just Say When’ Video
The airport serves as a transitional stop for many people in life's journey, so it's fitting that a terminal provides the set piece for Nothing More's latest clip, "Just Say When." The Daniel Cummings-directed video uses an airport meet between a couple to describe the dance of a relationship no longer on the same page.
In the video, the four members of Nothing More sit a little battle-worthy and emotionally drained in the terminal seats as Jonny Hawkins sings the emotional track. Meanwhile, the conceptual part of the clip centers on a man with a photo attempting to track down a woman and eventually finding her as they embark in a dance that leaves one exhaustedly dropping as the other scurries away. The band recently debuted the clip, making sure to give thanks to Tate McRae and D'Angelo Castro for the choreography done with the central characters in the clip. Watch the video in full above.
While much of the Grammy-nominated The Stories We Tell Ourselves album leans on the heavier side, "Just Say When" has garnered raves as a change of pace on the disc and one of the more vulnerable tracks the band has delivered in their career.
The Grammy nominations definitely gave the band a boost earlier this year and they're keeping the momentum going. At present, they're playing shows with Papa Roach and Escape the Fate. They'll also join Stone Sour for select dates in Europe after the run, with the band eventually returning stateside this summer for shows with Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin and Bad Wolves. In other Nothing More news, the band's music has been used to soundtrack a dance of a different kind -- that of the grace and skill of some of the NHL's finest. Watch "Go to War" backing some of the action teasing the NHL playoffs in the video below.
