Human trafficking happens in Montana, human trafficking happens in Missoula.

The Missoula Human Trafficking Task Force is partnering with the Vital Voices Club from Hellgate High School and the Jeanette Rankin Peace Center to bring the Red Sand Project back to Missoula's Hip Strip tomorrow, April 24th.

The Red Sand Project is a world wide effort that was started in 2014 to raise awareness of the vulnerabilities that lead to human trafficking and exploitation. The sidewalk cracks filled in with red sand remind us of the millions of trafficking victims that are often overlooked and "fall through the cracks." Around 40 million world wide. Forty...MILLION.

Join us in raising awareness by taking the time to participate any time tomorrow, Wednesday, April 24th, between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Jeanette Rankin Peace Center, 519 South Higgins Avenue. Document your sidewalk transformation on social media with #redsandproject.
