Say Goodbye (For Now) to Bridge Pizza’s Higgins Ave Spot!
Missoula, we’ve got some bittersweet news. Our beloved Bridge Pizza on Higgins Avenue is taking a much-deserved hiatus. But don’t freak out, it’s for a good reason! After decades of dishing out hot slices, cold beers, and thousands of memories, the iconic pizza joint is closing its doors on March 9th for a major remodel.
If you’ve ever finished a late night with a giant New York-style slice in one hand and a to-go box in the other, you know how special this place is. It’s not simply a pizza shop, it’s a part of Missoula’s soul.
The renovation has been overdue for some time. The project was planned before the pandemic but was put on hold (like everything else). But now, Bridge Pizza is planning to revitalize the space while preserving the character and flavors we love.
Bridge Pizza shared great photos on social media that give a look at the awesome family dynamic the pizza shop has shared with Misosula for so many years.

While the Higgins location undergoes a facelift, Bridge Pizza on Brooks Street will remain open, and they’re expanding their delivery area, so you don’t have to go without your fix of cheesy pizza goodness.
Sure, we will miss our go-to pizza stop this summer. But think of it this way: When the doors open back up this fall, it’ll be the same Bridge Pizza we know and love. Just with a fresh new vibe and a new coat of paint. Until then, we’ll wait in anticipation and maybe squeeze in a few extra slices of pie into the days leading up to March 9th.
