Sevendust Have Started Their Thirteenth Studio Album
It's on! Sevendust are officially underway on their next studio album, with drummer Morgan Rose apparently getting his work out of the way in quick fashion.
In a recent Instagram post, the band offered a picture of their whiteboard laying out the recording process, with all of Rose's boxes checked. The group was careful to crop out any potential song titles or placeholders, but it looks as though there were 12 pieces of music to check off. Their post suggests that strings will be coming next in the sessions.
In addition, the other group members have been hanging around the studio as well, with the band posting a look at the stylish surroundings of Michael "Elvis" Baskette's studio as they jam. Get a closer look below.
Though details have been sparse and no official release date has been announced, a new album is expected to surface in 2020. The band even posted some special fan opportunities surrounding the recording earlier this year and a few remain if you still want to get involved. Among the items not sold out include studio used signed Morgan Rose drumsticks (now fresh from recording), a signed lyric sheet, the opportunity to have your name in the liner notes and studio used signed Dean Guitar from John Connolly. While the new album is at the top of their list, the band will break in December to hit the road in the U.K. with Alter Bridge and Shinedown. Plus, they have their end of the year holiday shows as well. Keep up with their touring at this location.
