Shinedown truly show their ‘Unity’ in their video for the new single off their album ‘Amaryllis.’ The clip depicts the harmony they have as a band with backstage footage and live performance footage.

An endearing little girl also makes an appearance in the ‘Unity’ video as she wanders aimlessly by herself with her camera taking portraits of various people, creating some unity of her own through her photos.

In our exclusive Twitter interview with frontman Brent Smith and guitarist Zach Myers, they spoke about the message they wanted to spread through the song ‘Unity’ by telling us, “We basically want people to realize we share this world together so we all must get a long for the better of the world and future.” The Shinedown members also mentioned that ‘Unity’ is one of their favorite songs to play live.

You can unite with Shinedown this summer as they are gearing up for the 2012 Uproar Festival, which also includes Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach and others. For a full list of dates and cities, go here.
