Missoula’s Southgate Mall remains open for business during the coronavirus pandemic.

General Manager Tim Winger spoke with KGVO News on Tuesday and provided the following details.

“Our tenants are following the individual guidelines of their owners and corporate leadership, including the potential for modified hours and temporary store closures,” said Winger. If people do come to the mall, we encourage them to call ahead for store hours, or they can call our guest services number (721-5140).”

“We have rearranged the furniture in the mall area,” he said. “We have always had a rigorous cleaning regimen, but we’re wiping everything down more than ever. Our hours have changed. We will be open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For mall walkers, the doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday.”

AMC Theaters, the largest theater chain in the United States, will shut its doors nationwide for between six to 12 weeks. The move complies with local, state, and federal directives to help fight the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

The AMC Dine-In Theater is located at Southgate Mall.
